From First Call to Bound Folder

Every heir folder follows the same documented process. Variations exist in scope — number of wallets, locations, languages — but the sequence remains consistent so clients know what to expect.

  • Scope inquiry — You contact our office with the number of offline wallets, storage locations, and whether bilingual pages are needed. We respond within two business days with a written scope estimate and proposed session dates.
  • Deposit and scheduling — A 40% deposit confirms your documentation session. Inventory-only clients pay in full at booking.
  • Initial consultation (90 minutes) — At our Test-gil office, we review your existing notes, list every section the folder will contain, and agree on heir contact assignments. No binding content is finalized in this meeting.
  • Documentation session (2–3 hours) — On-site at your premises or continued at our office. We photograph authorized locations, transcribe recovery steps you dictate, and draft inventory pages.
  • Draft review (60 minutes) — Printed draft pages are presented for your corrections. You mark changes directly on paper. We do not proceed to binding until you sign the approval sheet.
  • Binding and indexing — Approved pages are printed on archival paper, tabbed, and bound into the cloth-covered folder. Table of contents and heir assignment sheet are finalized.
  • Delivery — Folder is handed to you in person at our office or delivered via registered courier within Suwon and greater Seoul. Courier deliveries require signature confirmation.

What to Bring to Your First Session

  • List of offline wallets and storage mediums (hardware wallet, metal backup, paper envelope)
  • Known storage locations with addresses
  • Names and phone numbers of potential heir contacts
  • Any existing notes, notebooks, or index cards (we reorganize, not discard)
  • Safety deposit box or vault records if institutional storage is involved

Do not bring seed phrases unless you intend to document their custody location in the folder. We never recommend writing seed phrases directly into heir folders — only where they are stored.

Folder Structure

A typical complete folder contains these tabbed sections:

  1. Table of contents and heir contact assignment sheet
  2. Overview and emergency first steps (one page, plain language)
  3. Wallet inventory ledger
  4. Per-wallet recovery instructions
  5. Storage location photographs and orientation sketches
  6. Institutional vault records (bank box numbers, key holders)
  7. Appendix for sealed supplements you add after delivery

Timeline

Standard turnaround: 10–14 business days from signed draft approval to delivery. Rush binding within 7 business days is available for an additional ₩80,000.

Folder Updates

When you add wallets or change storage locations, contact us for a folder update quote. We replace affected pages, re-index tabs, and append a change log to the table of contents. Updates typically cost ₩150,000–₩280,000 depending on scope.
